Congratulations Elizabeth Stotler!

Please join us in congratulating Elizabeth Spawn Stotler for being promoted to junior partner, effective October 1. Elizabeth joined Schutjer Bogar in 2008 as an associate and currently works in our Washington, DC office. She handles matters involving civil litigation, administrative law, and complex collection (with a focus on Medicaid eligibility and reimbursement).

Elizabeth is a Minnesota native, who graduated with a B.S. in marketing. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota in 2003. While in law school, she worked as a law clerk for intellectual property and telecommunication firms. She subsequently completed a Judicial Clerkship for the Honorable James B. Dudley and the Honorable Raymond Kane, Jr. in the Circuit Court of Maryland for Howard County. Prior to her employment with Schutjer Bogar, Ms. Spawn was a litigation associate practicing civil and construction litigation, and workers’ compensation defense throughout Maryland and Washington, D.C.

Elizabeth has been admitted to practice law in Maryland since December 2003, and in the District of Columbia since March 2006. Ms. Spawn is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association. She currently lives in Washington, D.C.
